The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Children’s Nurse with a minimum of 10‑12 months post‑qualification experience in an acute setting, to join the CCNS team in one of our Special Schools – Penn Hall and Green Park. We are after 22.5 hours term‑time only for Penn Hall, and 30 hours per week term‑time only for Green Park.
You’ll gain essential skills, knowledge, and hands‑on experience in acute and community children’s nursing, playing a vital role in reducing health inequalities and shaping a brighter future for local children and families.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a qualified nurse, registered as a Children’s Nurse and NMC, with experience within the acute care setting post‑qualification. You will require flexibility, good communication, literacy and IT skills, and must demonstrate evidence of working within a multi‑disciplinary team. Clinical nursing skills relevant to children with acute illness, complex disability, and chronic and complex health needs will be required.
