Job Title: Cold Calling Appointment Setter
Location: Paignton - Office Based
Salary: £26,436.80 basic + uncapped commission. Realistic OTE £40,000+

About the Role
We are a new business with ambitious plans and are looking for a confident and motivated Cold Calling Appointment Setter to join our growing sales team during an exciting stage of growth. This is a great opportunity to become part of a company at an early stage, where your contribution will have a real impact and where there is genuine room to develop.
In this role, you will be reaching out to businesses across the services industry, including trades such as electricians, plumbers, builders, and other local service providers, with the aim of booking qualified appointments for our sales team.
You will be provided with data and leads, and will use our bespoke dialler system to make outbound calls. This role would suit someone who is resilient, target-driven, and confident speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
* Make outbound cold calls to businesses in the services industry
* Speak with business owners and decision-makers to introduce our offering
* Book qualified appointments for the sales team
* Work through company-provided data effectively and consistently
* Keep accurate notes and update call outcomes
* Work towards daily, weekly, and monthly activity and appointment targets

* Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner

* Ability to handle objections and build rapport quickly
* Organised, self‑motivated, and dependable
* Previous cold calling, telesales, or door‑to‑door experience preferred
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment
