What the Job Involves Works with the manager and colleagues to define outcomes, set targets, and monitor performance within a culture of continual improvement. Supports operational plans to ensure optimal use of team resources. Builds strong partnerships to facilitate efficient service delivery. Uses new technologies to adopt modern and agile working practices and improve customer service. Leads on the Right to Buy process and other Home Ownership Initiatives. Delivers advice and support to Council homeowners and addresses any lease or agreement breaches. Leads consultations with homeowners and prepares technical aspects of casework for legal challenges. Guides Home Ownership Officers in preparing service charge accounts. Maintains administrative aspects of home ownership properties. Liaises with internal stakeholders and works closely with the legal team and finance. Promotes and supports all Housing Service and wider Council objectives. Embeds equity, equality, fairness, and diversity into team working and service delivery. Skills Lease management and enforcement Stakeholder engagement Service charge financial expertise Knowledge of Right to Buy processes Consultation and communication strategies Process review and policy development Legal and tribunal casework preparation Administrative and record-keeping proficiency Support for community cohesion and inclusion
