Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
8. Carry out servicing and repairs on cars and vans to a high standard
9. Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic tools and manufacturer software
10. Perform mechanical repairs such as brakes, clutches, gearboxes, engines, and electrical systems.
11. Service and repair trailers as required
12. Conduct MOT inspections, preparation, and presentation
13. Complete roller brake testing and fault diagnosis
14. Maintain accurate documentation including job cards and parts usage
15. Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
16. Provide excellent customer care, maintaining professional standards
17. Communicate effectively with the Workshop Supervisor regarding tooling or support needs
Requirements as a Vehicle Technician:
18. NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Maintenance, or equivalent
19. Proven experience as a Car & LCV Technician with strong diagnostic skills
20. Full UK driving licence is essential
21. Own comprehensive set of tools
22. Organised, motivated, and committed to delivering quality work
23. Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
