Permanent Band B 10 hours per week - 38 weeks per year We are seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated lunchtime support team at this popular, inclusive, thriving school, which is well regarded by the local community and located on the Woodchurch Estate. The successful candidate will: Be a kind, calm, thoughtful and caring person whose values align with those of the school and who is committed to making lunchtimes a safe, enjoyable experience for our children. Have experience of supervising children, through either work related experience or as a parent or carer. Have good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team. Main responsibilities will include: Supervising children to provide a secure and happy environment at lunchtime Organising games and activities and encouraging children to participate Monitoring and modeling positive behaviour and relationships, effectively managing and recording any incidents. Promoting good table manners and social skills. Administering basic first aid and inputting records onto our computerised system. Setting up, clearing and cleaning the hall including lifting lunchtime tables and benches.
