About The Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Cash Processor to join the fast-paced treasury team team who will contribute to the company’s financial performance through timely processing of branch banking, payments and account reconciliations. Main duties include:
1. Reconcile daily branch banking to till control reports for a large number of branches across the Group in a timely and efficient manner, working with Aurum (bank reconciliation software) and standard Excel Reports.
2. Identifying and dealing with any banking discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner, with branch management team.
3. Support the monitoring of the Cash Posting Log, posting nominal ledger transactions and liaison with Sales & Purchase Ledger colleagues to ensure daily posting of transactions to accounting system (MAM).
4. Prepare the monthly bank reconciliation of multiple company bank accounts and support the Group Bank Reconciliation process for the whole Group as required.
5. Working with and supporting branch colleagues to ensure compliance with Treasury procedure and policy.
6. Assist with the maintenance of branch PDQ machines.
7. Raise adhoc payments using AccessPay / Barclay iPortal.
8. Any other duty as required by the line manager commensurate with the post.

What you'll need to succeed:
9. Finance administration experience within MS Excel
10. Work accurately and efficiently with exceptional attention to detail
11. Confident and polite telephone manner
12. Experience in MAM, SAGE, SAP, SUN
13. Ideally experience in till management and banking processes
