Role Description
We are seeking a skilled 5-Axis CNC Miller to join our team in a full-time, based in Aylesbury. The responsibilities include setting, operating, and programming 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision components for various industry sectors. The ideal candidate will also contribute ideas for enhancing processes and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
* Proficiency in setting, operating, and programming 5-axis CNC machines
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications
* Experience with quality assurance practices, including maintaining high standards of precision
* Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and tools - We use OpenMind Hypermill (training would be offered)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Understanding of machining technologies and materials
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment
* Flexibility and teamwork skills to adapt to production requirements
* Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standards is an advantage.
* Pay will be based on experience and skills but ranges from £19 - £25 per hour. Overtime over 40hours is paid at 1.5x salary
