We are seeking a multifaceted Project Proposals Lead to join our Systems & Software UK&I business.
You will engage with our Systems and Software sales team and customers, proactively architect and define technical solutions for new and existing customers. Your role involves generating professional proposals that solve customer problems while promoting the benefits of a partnership with Emerson.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Engage with the systems and software sales team, contribute to sales strategies, develop proposal strategies, and contracting concepts.
* Receive customer enquiries, interpret specifications, and understand customer challenges.
* Collaborate with the Operations Organisation, High Value Engineering Centres, Third Party Suppliers, and other departments to create competitive proposals.
* Participate in pre and post-sales meetings, including tender clarifications, technical presentations, site visits, and project interactions.
* Gain knowledge of all systems and software products, acting as a technical and applications consultant to the sales team.
* Work with engineering teams to develop optimal technical solutions that meet customer requirements competitively.
* Prepare technical and commercial quotations for solutions, equipment, and services.
* Liaise during the bidding process to refine quotations and convert them into orders.
* Coordinate with sales and other BUs to ensure proposals are comprehensive and maximize product and solution participation.
* Participate actively as a team member in proposals and sales activities.
* Develop technical and contracting concepts in partnership with sales and proposal strategies.
* Lead cross-organizational teams to deliver proposals on time.
* Follow IMS and PMO guidelines and procedures.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* Experience in a Project Proposals role.
* Background in Inside Sales and Customer Service roles.
* Ability to communicate effectively at technical and commercial levels.
* Experience developing successful internal relationships within a matrix organization.
* Proficiency with product and business systems, such as Oracle and CRM.
* This role is based in Leicester, Aberdeen, or Stockport, with regular travel to Leicester.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in a System Integrator organization.
* Experience in the Process Automation Industry.
