JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced Access Control Contracts Manager to join the business on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is based out of Brentwood, covering London and surrounding social housing contracts.
This position will take full ownership of the delivery and performance of Access Control, Door Entry, and Intercom contracts across occupied residential properties. You will be responsible for managing engineers and subcontractors, driving performance against SLAs and KPIs, and ensuring works are delivered right first time, safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of access control, door entry, and intercom contracts across social housing properties
* Oversee planned and reactive works, including installations, servicing, maintenance, and remedial repairs
* Directly manage engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and supporting administration teams
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, attending progress meetings and performance reviews
* Drive performance against contractual SLAs, KPIs, productivity, quality, and resident satisfaction
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, company procedures, and housing sector standards
* Provide technical oversight including fault finding, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance
* Manage budgets, cost control, variations, and forecasting
* Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and certification in line with client systems
* Implement and maintain safe systems of work including RAMS, toolbox talks, and audits
* Promote a resident-focused approach across all works in occupied properties
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Proven experience as an Access Control Contracts Manager or Senior Supervisor
* Strong technical background in access control, door entry, and intercom systems
* Experience delivering works in occupied, resident-facing social housing environments
* Confident with fault finding, testing, commissioning, and quality checks
* Experience managing engineers, subcontractors, and multiple workstreams
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise directly with clients and residents
* Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and variations
* Ability to work under pressure and meet contractual deadlines
* Full UK driving licence
Manufacturer experience with Paxton, Entrotech, Videx, Comelit, BPT, Aiphone, or Fermax is beneficial but not essential.
