Overview
The School of Engineering at our Luton and Hemel Campus is looking for lecturers who can share industry knowledge to help Motor Vehicle learners excel in practical and theory environments. We have hourly paid, part-time and full-time roles available. Our courses are delivered by tutors with extensive knowledge and professional expertise of the industry and work closely with employers to develop students and their own skills.
Responsibilities
* Teach across the Level 1 Automotive Engineering and Level 2/3 Motor Vehicle programmes.
* Use your industry experience to support learners in both practical and theoretical settings.
* Collaborate with employers to help students develop relevant skills and employability.
* Contribute to a dynamic team and participate in the college’s training and development culture.
Qualifications
* Appropriate professional qualifications and experience in the Motor Vehicle industry.
* Enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities achieve their potential.
* Motor Vehicle sector qualifications at Level 3 or above.
* Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential; training and the opportunity to achieve a teaching qualification while working for the College will be provided.
* Assessor and/or IQA qualifications would be advantageous.
