Hiring: Independent Prescribing Pharmacists and Nurse Prescribers, remote and in-clinic (Burnley)
About the role:
We’re building the UK’s most patient-centred online weight loss service. As an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist or Nurse Prescriber at Slinic, you’ll deliver safe, effective weight management clinics: assessment, prescribing, counselling, and follow-up.
Responsibilities
* Conduct structured weight loss consultations and risk assessments
* Prescribe appropriately (incl. GLP‑1s) within protocols and your competence
* Provide lifestyle counselling, monitor outcomes, manage side‑effects.
Requirements
* GPhC‑registered Independent Prescriber (Pharmacist) OR NMC‑registered Nurse Prescriber
* Demonstrable weight loss prescribing experience in community or clinic
* Confident with clinical guidelines, red‑flag recognition & safeguarding
* Excellent communication and patient education skills
