Purpose of the role
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Partner to join our HR Support Services team at our Solihull Head Office (B37 7YB), with UK travel required. You will be responsible for delivering our training strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting employee development across the organization. This role offers an opportunity to influence learning initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and support career development.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with business leaders to identify training needs, manage training requests, and maintain accurate records. Support the implementation of the L&D strategy, design and deliver leadership and management programs, evaluate training effectiveness, and manage relationships with training providers. Assist with apprenticeship and graduate programs, including recruitment, onboarding, audits, and budgets. Maintain training matrices aligned with our Learning Management System and contribute to continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems, and policies.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development, with proven experience in a consultative or specialist L&D role. Strong understanding of the full learning cycle, talent development strategies, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes, funding, and industry standards is desirable. Experience in construction or industrial sectors is a plus but not essential.
