Job Purpose:
To support the smooth running of the solicitor’s office by providing professional front-of-house reception services and high-quality administrative support. This role offers a legal graduate the opportunity to gain experience in a professional legal environment, build essential skills, and observe legal practice in action.

Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
* Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and clients
* Manage incoming calls, take accurate messages, and direct queries appropriately
* Greet clients in a professional and friendly manner
* Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
Administrative Support:
* Handle incoming and outgoing post and email correspondence
* Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
* Prepare, print, and format letters, legal forms, and other documents
* Photocopy, scan, file, and maintain both physical and digital case files
Client File Management:
* Assist with opening, closing, and archiving client files
* Input data into the case management system accurately
* Ensure all documentation is compliant with firm policies and regulatory requirements
General Office Duties:
* Order and manage office supplies
* Support solicitors and legal assistants with ad hoc tasks
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Person Specification:
Essential:
* Recent law graduate (LLB or equivalent)
* Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
* Strong written communication and administrative ability
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
* Professional appearance and attitude
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a receptionist or admin role
* Familiarity with legal documentation or case management systems
* Aspiration to pursue a career in law
