Job Description:

With proven experience in an HGV or truck position and strong technical/engineering aptitude, this could be the next step for you!
Previous experience with HGVs, either as an ex-technician or in similar service advisor roles, is essential. The role involves handling breakdowns, ensuring site health & safety compliance, and some facilities management.
Excellent customer care, communication, and administrative skills are required.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9-hour days between 07:30 and 18:00.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review maintenance repair cost estimates, raise and authorize purchase orders to vendors.
* Support maintenance issues involving customers and vendors.
* Liaise with OEM technical service departments and support fault diagnosis.
* Arrange and manage third-party work on premises.
* Assist with parts sourcing, procurement, and ordering.
* Analyze warranty situations and review fleet maintenance data for trends.
* Manage key accounts, from scheduling maintenance to handling breakdowns and damage recharges.
* Ensure site adherence to health & safety regulations and assist in facilities management.
Requirements:
* Previous experience with HGVs as a technician or service advisor.
* Experience with breakdowns.
* Knowledge of health & safety and facilities management.
* Excellent communication skills and customer care.
* Proficiency in computer use and administrative tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
