Team Leader | Eastern Creek DC Job no: 943250 Work type: Permanent / Full time Location: Eastern Creek - DC Opportunity to join the Myer Eastern Creek DC leading a multi-skilled team supporting Myer stores in delivery service excellence in a fast-paced environment. DC operates across a large span of hours, this position is a PM shift Team Leader, 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday and includes site lock-up. During training period (approx. 3-4 weeks from commencement), progressive growth of operational hours will be required to ensure learning across the entire operational hours. During training period, hours will vary to include mid-morning to mid-afternoon before moving to permanent PM shift from late July. About The Role: Provide leadership and direction to the Distribution Centre team ensuring the delivery and execution of the Myer business strategy Lead by example and champion a safe work environment Optimise the productivity of the team and ensuring cost effectiveness to deliver business and customer expectations Organise, plan, control and monitor the distribution of goods from receipt in the Distribution Centre through to despatch to both stores and directly to individual customers Establish and maintain key relationships with customers, key stakeholders and third parties across a broad range of logistics activities Proactively identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities relating to process, productivity, costs, customer service, people management and workplace safety About You: Previous experience working in a DC/Warehouse/Supply Chain environment Demonstrated team leader/supervisory experience Thorough understating of WHS policies Experience in various Warehouse activities and duties Hands on approach with willingness to undertake manual physical activities Strong customer service focus to meet and exceed customer expectations Good communication skills with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders Good analytical, problem solving and numeracy skills with high level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task Valid and current Forklift License Benefits to you: Career development and progression opportunities A great range of discounts and Myer Team Member exclusive offers Access to volunteer, parental and lifestyle leave Aust.
