Requirements:
* A UK-SPEC accredited degree in a relevant engineering discipline (preferably in Mechanical Engineering). Achieved grade of 2:1 or above.

* Experience in rail or a similar safety-critical, design-focused industry.
* Familiarity with working in or supporting project and design teams.
* An understanding of engineering drawings.
* An understanding of 3D modelling and its creation.
* Proficiency in CAD systems – ideally Siemens Solid Edge or SolidWorks.
* Experience with FEA systems – ideally ANSYS.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* IT literate with good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
* Working towards chartership (IMechE or equivalent), or committed to doing so.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
* Effective communicator, able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence – required for on-site vehicle surveys.
Our Offer:
* A unique opportunity to help shape the future of public transport technology as part of the global shift towards smarter, greener, more connected mobility.
* The chance to work on high-impact products used by millions of passengers around the world, including on some of the largest rail and bus networks in Europe and North America.
