Job Summary
As a General Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will carry out a range of tasks to help us provide the quality care and support our residents deserve. No two days will be the same as you take on diverse responsibilities across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering. Because this is such a wide‑reaching role you will be able to play your own part in creating a warm and homely environment. Caring and empathetic, you will put our residents first and build positive professional relationships that make their experience with us happy and meaningful.

You should be adaptable to handle diverse tasks and ready to make a difference. Training will cover everything else you need to thrive, and you will have opportunities to take further courses.
