The successful candidate will work across the EYFS setting and be a key member of the leadership team, collaborating with an excellent leadership team to continue our pursuit of excellence.
Middlestown Primary Academy is an Ofsted-rated ‘good’ primary/infant academy with excellent facilities and dedicated staff. We are a forward-thinking, ambitious, and welcoming school committed to providing outstanding education.
The role is suitable for current Upper Foundation teachers seeking a more senior role or experienced EYFS leaders wishing to expand their leadership experience in a successful setting.
You will be responsible for ensuring all children receive high-quality early years education, understanding childhood development, and the role of the EYFS setting in supporting this development.
The successful candidate will manage the progression of the EYFS phase, work with colleagues across our Trust schools, lead curriculum and pupil development initiatives, and share innovative ideas to sustain our high standards, as evidenced in our recent Ofsted inspection.
We seek an EYFS leader with motivating skills, an inclusive teaching approach, and a drive to actively involve pupils in their learning and support their development to reach their full potential.
This role offers a unique opportunity for an Early Years specialist to influence the development of our Early Years Foundation Unit.
We provide extensive professional development opportunities to support our staff’s growth and encourage collaborative work across subjects and academies within our Trust.
The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, leading by example, and maintaining high teaching standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with parents and families are essential.
