An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially sharp Financial Controller to join a dynamic and fast-growing Media group headquartered in London. Known for its innovative approach to content creation strategy, the business works with a diverse range of global brands to deliver impactful campaigns.
This is a high-profile role within a lean but ambitious finance team, offering full ownership of one of their core subsidiary. As the company continues to expand organically and via acquisition, the Financial Controller will play a vital role in strengthening controls, improving reporting, and ensuring the business is equipped to scale efficiently.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you’ll take responsibility for all aspects of month end, financial control, reporting, and audit.
Own the month-end close process and deliver accurate management and financial reporting in a timely manner
Prepare consolidated group accounts, statutory accounts, and support the annual audit process
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Liaise with external auditors and advisors, ensuring timely completion of all filings and submissions
Partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and deliver commercial insight
Support M&A activity including due diligence and integration work as required
Salary up to £70,000 + bonus

~ The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with post-qualification experience in a hands-on Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role. You’ll have a strong technical foundation, proven controllership experience, and a proactive approach to improving processes and controls.
