This global law firm is going through a period of growth and change on a global scale. The team are looking for a new Events Manager to come in and lead their UK Events programme and team, and bring a fresh pair of eyes to how they work.
The role will manage the events team, made up of 4 team members from Assistant to Senior Executive level. They are all at different points in their career, and need different levels of nurture and support, and the firm really like to support and develop their marketing talent.
The Events Manager will also lead on event best practices and processes. They have plenty of processes in place, but are open to someone coming in a suggesting commercial change.
They are also about to roll out a new EventTech platform, so want someone who can work with the MarTech Lead on this, and is confident driving change with the partners.
Day to day, this role will also lead on a few of their larger events and summits, as well as having oversight of the entire events programme. The team is keen to streamline this programme and ensure they are focusing on events with strong ROI, so the Events Manager will advise on this.
It's an exciting role and certainly a unique one on the legal events market! Long term, this role has real potential to step up into a Senior Manager role, and lead on the global events processes.
Ideally, the firm are looking for:

* An experienced Events Manager, who would be ready to step up to Senior Manager in 18 months or so.
\t
* A strong understanding of event process and best practice. Solid line management experience. An individual with the ability drive change and persuade senior stakeholders. Legal, professional services or a partnership environment experience, ideally in a global firm. Exposure to EventTech software would be a bonus!
