Excellent opportunity for future progression!\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced and driven Site Engineer to join our team on a construction project in West London involving significant steel and structural steel works. This is a key role on a high-profile build, working alongside an experienced site and engineering team to deliver complex steel structures to industry standards. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day engineering and site coordination of steel packages, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSetting out and surveying for structural steel erection and associated works\nEnsuring all works are carried out to design specifications and engineering drawings\nCoordinating with steel fabricators, subcontractors, and crane teams on site activities\nMonitoring construction progress and reporting against programme targets\nSupporting the QA process - inspections, documentation, and compliance with BS EN 1090 and relevant standards\nMaintaining accurate records including site diaries, ITPs, RFIs, and redline drawings\nContributing to the development and implementation of safe systems of work\nWorking closely with the Project Engineer and Site Manager to resolve technical queries and drive quality outcomesQualifications and Experience:\n\nDegree or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering\nMinimum 2-5 years' site-based experience, ideally with a focus on steel structures\nProficient in using surveying instruments (total station, GPS, levels)\nSound knowledge of UK building regulations, structural steel erection processes, and temporary works\nCSCS card required; SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills\nExperience working on complex steel or mixed-material construction projects is highly beneficialWhat We Offer:\n\nOther interesting work after project completion\nCollaborative team with strong technical leadership\nCompetitive salary with travel or site allowances\nCareer progression within a growing business\nSupport with training, development, and achieving professional accreditation (e.g.
