Planning, coordinating, and supervising daily operations to promote high staff morale and optimal performance. Managing inventory control and ensuring effective stock rotation. Overseeing the company fleet, including lorries, forklifts, and cars. Conducting driver briefings and debriefings related to deliveries and collections. Ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and current. Supervising drivers, yard operatives, mechanics, and other personnel. Controlling fuel usage and overhead expenses efficiently, while optimizing driver productivity through effective problem-solving.
