Dementia Support Worker
An NVQ level 2 (or above) certificate in Health and Social Care is essential for this role, along with a minimum of 6 months experience within a Dementia setting.
Hours: 22-44 hours per week - Days
Rates of pay:
* NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care: £13.27 per hour
* NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care: £14.10 per hour

As a Dementia Support Worker, you will ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity. Your approach should be empathetic, compassionate, and focused on making residents' lives fulfilling and meaningful.
In specially designed communities, you will engage with individuals on their Dementia journey, understanding their needs, encouraging, assisting, and supporting participation in leisure activities and daily living, aiming to normalize life with joy and happiness. The role involves personal care and supporting individuals showing signs of distress. You will receive tailored dementia training to enhance your skills and improve residents' lives.
