We are seeking a motivated Planning Manager to join a growing, London-based property development company with a strong pipeline of projects across the capital and the wider South-East. As Planning Manager, you will play a central part in identifying, promoting, and securing planning consents across a diverse portfolio of immediate and strategic sites, working closely with the Planning Director.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in shaping the planning strategy of a dynamic company that is expanding the number of homes it delivers each year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring planning policy, appeals and case law
* Advising internal teams on planning matters and potential acquisitions
* Developing and delivering planning and site promotion strategies
* Managing consultants and coordinating project teams
* Leading the preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications and agreements
* Building strong relationships with planning authorities, stakeholders and partners
Key Requirements:
* MRTPI or MRICS (Planning & Development) qualified, with c. 4–6 years’ post-qualification experience
* Strong knowledge of planning policy and development processes
* Comfortable managing projects independently, but equally collaborative when working with wider teams
* Strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Keen to gain exposure within a fast-paced, privately-owned development environment
