Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for an Technical Specialist on a permanent basis based in the West Midlands. Role Summary To be the company’s principal technical specialist in all areas relating to process engineering in Wastewater. This includes working with members of the process department, other members of the company, and external bodies, as directed by the Technical Director, to assist with the development and maintenance of key competences in the Process Department. Responsibilities: • To help with developing Wastewater sectors key competences required in the Process Department, as directed by the Technical Director. • Where so directed by the Technical Director, to undertake in-depth investigations of new technologies in order to advise on the feasibility, desirability and the risks involved with developing them into engineered solutions. • Act as a focal point in the leadership of technical matters relating to wastewater and generic process engineering (including contribution to research and development) advising others as required. This includes providing technical support and expertise to both Bid Teams and Delivery Teams. • Where responsibility is assigned with regard to any technologies licensed by us, to undertake the role of technical liaison with the licensor.
