Lecturer in Psychology (Fixed Term, 12 months, Maternity Leave)
Salary: £41,220 - £47,728 per annum. Hours: 37 per week. Reporting to: Senior Lecturer. Department: Department of Psychology (DL). Employment type: Fixed Term Contracts to cover Maternity Leave (12 months).
Remote working arrangement will require minimal travel to Coventry head office or campus. Non‑contractual benefit includes an Arden work location.

Opportunity
We have two great opportunities for Lecturers in Psychology to join us. In these roles you will be required to contribute to the development and delivery of our programmes.
* Deliver excellent teaching and learning to our students.
* Lead and develop modules, ensuring high‑quality learning materials and curriculum development.
* Design excellent digital teaching material ensuring that content and methods of delivery meet defined learning objectives.
* Undertake assessment marking, design authentic assessments, and provide high‑quality feedback.
* Manage your own teaching activity and reflect on practice and development of skills, with support/guidance as needed.
* Undertake administrative activities to support teaching and learning activities.
* Actively contribute to School level activity.
About You
To be successful as a Lecturer in Psychology you will need:
* An MSc or equivalent qualification in Psychology, with Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
* Experience in teaching, learning, and assessment practices in Higher Education.
* A track record of successfully contributing to programme teams and being an inspiring and creative lecturer.
* We especially encourage applications from those with experience teaching across the core BPS curriculum.
Desirable Criteria
* A PhD in Psychology or a closely‑related subject.
