We are seeing an increasing number of patients with advanced liver disease that require intensive monitoring, support and care to manage their condition and avoid regular, lengthy stays in hospital and we are looking to recruit a nurse who is interested in caring for patients with liver disease, but with a particular focus on the acute aspect of that care. This is an opportunity to join an existing multi-disciplinary team within Gastroenterology and Hepatology based at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, but covering the whole of Dorset, including some outreach into the community. The ideal candidate will have experience of caring for patients with liver disease in hospital or/and the community and interested in working within a clinical nurse specialist role.
