🔧 Job Overview: Join a dynamic team in Heywood where your expertise in PC and laptop hardware will make a real difference. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Operative to support the refurbishing and assembly of IT equipment to the highest standards.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble and build PCs and laptops from assorted components
2. Book in IT equipment and carry out secure data wipes
3. Perform minor repairs and hardware upgrades
4. Conduct comprehensive functionality testing
5. Support general warehouse operations including order picking and stock management
6. Ensure cleanliness and organisation in the workspace
7. Load/unload palletised goods
8. Participate in stock counts and quality inspections
🎯 Requirements:
9. Strong passion for IT and computer hardware
10. Proven experience assembling and testing PCs/laptops
11. Familiarity with MS Office applications
12. Excellent spoken and written English
13. Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
14. Experience in the electronics sector is a plus
15. Comfortable with warehouse management systems
16. Previous warehouse work experience
17. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
