Position: Certified Medical Assistant
* Sign-on bonus of $3,500 for new hires (rehires within more than 1 year are also eligible).
Shift: Day shift; 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Location: Primary Care – Dartmouth, MA

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Office Manager, Clinical Coordinator, or designee, and according to the Medical Assistant Group Supervisory Agreement, performs various medical assisting duties within and supporting the assigned Medical Office(s). Collaborates with primary care providers, nurses, team members, patients, and families to deliver high-quality care. Assists providers with patient care and procedures, facilitates patient flow, manages communication with patients, and utilizes Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to update and access patient information, ensuring privacy and confidentiality. May also provide medical interpretation in languages other than English.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent plus specialized training.
* National certification (AMCA, AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NCMA) required within 13 months of hire if not already certified.
* Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or equivalent experience.
* BLS certification.
* Experience with EMR and medical office software preferred.
* One year of medical assisting experience preferred.
* Fluency in a language other than English and medical interpreting skills preferred.
* Additional certifications based on practice specialty may be advantageous.
* Must be vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.
* Compensation based on experience.
