Residential Property Lawyer / Licensed Conveyancer
Full-time | Bristol / Stamford / Peterborough (hybrid working)
We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to take on a senior role within a well-established law firm. This opportunity offers flexibility to be based in Bristol, Stamford, or Peterborough, with hybrid working and genuine support for work/life balance. This is a senior-level hire and would suit someone confident working independently, given that local team structures are lean.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a broad caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Progress files from instruction through to completion, including post-completion tasks.
* Handle more complex transactions such as lease extensions, new builds, shared ownership, and rectification of title defects.
* Ensure compliance with all professional and regulatory standards.
* Build strong client relationships and contribute to the development of referral networks.
* Provide technical input and guidance where needed, while maintaining high service standards.
About You:
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent.
* Extensive experience in residential conveyancing with the ability to work independently.
* Strong technical expertise in a range of property transactions, including more complex matters.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Strong communicator with a client-focused and commercially aware approach.
* Comfortable using case management systems and digital tools.
