HLTA – Computing (Part‑Time) Location: Greenford, Ealing, West London

Salary: £95 – £114.55 per day
We’re recruiting a confident and experienced HLTA to deliver computing lessons across the primary phase in a purpose-built and outstanding-rated primary school in Ealing. This part-time role aligns with the school’s award-winning focus on oracy and communication skills.
About our Partner: We are supporting a large and culturally diverse primary school in Ealing with three forms of entry per year (plus nursery). The school has been awarded Voice 21 Oracy Centre of Excellence for 2024/25, reflecting its outstanding implementation of speaking and listening across the curriculum.

The Role – HLTA: Computing You will deliver computing lessons and tech-focused learning across key stages. Working collaboratively with teachers, you will support digital literacy and computing curriculum development, and cover classes as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching computing across primary year groups (Reception–Year 6)
Covering computing and class lessons during teacher PPA time
Promoting safe, confident, and responsible technology use
Supporting cross-curricular oracy strategies across lessons, linking to the school’s oracy-focused ethos
Collaborating with teaching staff on curriculum and lesson planning Role Requirements – Ideal Candidate Will:
Experience teaching or covering computing lessons in a primary setting
Strong understanding of the primary computing curriculum
Comfortable working independently to cover classes
HLTA qualification preferred, but experienced Computing TAs considered
Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
