About Aerotron Avotec:
Aerotron Avotec Ltd is an aircraft component maintenance company working in the civilian and military aviation sectors. Based in Uddingston, the company specialises in the repair and overhaul of electrical and mechanical components for the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities:
* Developing into an Aerotrack Super User: Build advanced knowledge of Aerotrack over time, becoming a go to contact within the team for queries, guidance and system best practice. Learn to navigate and use Aerotrack to track work‑in‑progress, record maintenance activity, update job statuses and help generate essential documentation
* Supporting internal communication: Use Microsoft Outlook and Teams to manage emails, schedule meetings, organise shared calendars, and assist communication between the office and warehouse teams
* Collaborating with wider teams: Work closely with colleagues across office, warehousing, engineering and customer facing teams to share information, maintain accurate records and ensure smooth workflow between departments
* Finance and purchasing support: Assist the finance and procurement teams by using Sage 50 to help process purchase orders, update supplier and customer information, and support invoicing tasks
* Coordinating shipping and logistics: Help organise shipping and export requirements for incoming parts and outgoing orders, including using Aerotrack to generate the required documentation
* Data entry and document creation: Use Microsoft Word and Excel to input data accurately, update records, and support the creation and maintenance of operational documents
* Customer communication: Liaise with customers via Microsoft Teams to provide updates on ongoing work and ensure information is recorded and communicated clearly
* Supporting compliance documentation: Assist with preparing Maintenance Certification Release paperwork in line with regulatory requirements, using data collected from Microsoft Office tools and Aerotrack
* Managing shared inbox communication: Use Microsoft Outlook to manage both your own email and general office inbox, responding professionally and in a timely manner
Required skills:
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Ability to plan and organise workload to accommodate changing requirements
* Good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
Salary: £16,000 per annum
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
