Class 1 Night Trunk Driver
Location: Cullompton, Devon
Hours: Night shifts (typically 19:00-06:00, may vary)
Pay: £20ph plus rolled up holiday pay available
Contract Type: Temp/Ongoing
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Trunk Driver to join our clients growing logistics team. This role is ideal for drivers with a strong background in trunking and handling double decker trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled trunking routes between depots and distribution centres.
Operate double decker trailers safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
Complete all relevant paperwork and logbooks accurately.
Adhere to all DVSA regulations and company procedures.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
Minimum 6 months experience operating double decker trailers.
Max 6 points for minor offences
Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card.
Excellent knowledge of UK driving regulations and hours.
A safety-first mindset and reliable work ethic.
Ability to work independently during night hours.
