Job Title: Painter and Decorator
Rate of pay: £12.75 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 39 hours per week
Location: Mitie, T2 Trinity Park, Bickenhill Lane, Birmingham, West Midlands, England, B37 7ES
We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to carry out internal and external painting and decorating, preparation works to walls and minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting.
Responsibilities
* Erect access equipment as required, with appropriate training and all necessary access plant and temporary screening to protect the environment and people.
* Monitor decorating material stock and request new stock as required.
* Ensure all works are carried out within the approved budget and all painting and decorating equipment is best utilised and kept clean and reused.
Qualifications
* Recognised qualification or minimum of 5 years checkable experience in painting; apprenticeship considered
* Organised, self-motivated with good communication and customer service skills
* Full driving licence preferred but not essential
