This is a hands-on position focused on the assembly, fitting, and maintenance of a range of mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble, fit, and test mechanical components and machinery Interpret engineering drawings and technical diagrams Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Carry out maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs Ensure all work meets required quality and safety standards Support machinery builds and assist with occasional installation work Requirements: Proven experience in mechanical fitting or machinery assembly Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Solid knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g.
bearings, moving parts) Basic electrical or hydraulic knowledge is advantageous Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or similar) xxuwjjq desirable Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Salary & Benefits: Up to £33,500 per annum Overtime and bonus opportunities 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00am
