Our client is a highly respected, well-established civils contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Scotland.
About the Role
With continued growth in their order book, they are seeking a motivated Sub Agent to join their dynamic project delivery team. As a Sub Agent, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Agent and project team in the safe and efficient delivery of projects.
As this is a permanent role you would be expected to relocate or live within commutable distance. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Responsibilities
* Support the Site Agent in day-to-day project management and delivery
* Supervise site engineers and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out in line with specifications and drawings
* Oversee quality assurance, health & safety, and environmental management on site
* Contribute to planning, programming, and progress reporting
* Manage site documentation, risk assessments, method statements, and permits
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the wider project team to ensure effective communication and smooth delivery
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a Sub Agent or Section Engineer role within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality, and environmental management systems
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage people effectively
* Proficient in using engineering software and Microsoft Office
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work to deadlines
