Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner – No Month End
Based in Hertfordshire – Hybrid – Circa 3 days
Salary £90-100K + bonus
Investigo is supporting a multi-billion revenue business in recruiting a Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner.
This role offers high exposure to the Commercial Leadership Team, Category Directors, and Operational Partners, providing a strategic platform with high impact.
The position is in a new finance division supporting the commercial and product teams, focusing on providing commercial insights and analysis for product launches and existing product innovation.
You will support financial modeling for new propositions from research to launch, ensuring financial robustness. This is a commercial role with no month-end responsibilities, directly influencing decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the main finance partner for all commercial activities in a key category, supporting strategic growth.
* Manage the end-to-end P&L from gross sales to net margin, analyzing performance drivers and identifying risks and opportunities.
* Lead category forecasting aligned with performance trends and growth plans.
* Develop regular commercial outturns and forecasts for planning cycles.
* Support KPI development and monitor performance of new initiatives.
* Develop and analyze commercial models for new activities, including impact forecasts.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop assumptions, presentations, and business cases.
* Conduct performance reviews and benefit tracking, challenging and ensuring clarity in commercial narratives.
Skills Required:
* Qualified (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualified experience.
* Strong commercial awareness and autonomy.
* Excellent analytical skills, handling large data volumes.
* Advanced modeling skills.
* Ability to build relationships and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
