This newly created role will be instrumental in leading commercial analysis and project accounting activities across a variety of work streams for our energy infrastructure client.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with excellent financial modelling experience. You will conduct detailed financial analysis though the development of financial models in order to assess the return on investment of capital expenditure activities, and then work with leaders throughout the business to support critical decision making.
Responsibilities will include:
* Own, maintain and develop CAPEX reporting of new and ongoing infrastructure projects
* Establish and own variance vs budget reporting process for projects
* Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders to identify and manage financial risk within the project areas
* Own, maintain and update financial models for infrastructure development projects
* Support commercial leads with financial modeling around new commercial opportunities
Your Background:
* Excellent time management skills required, and commitment to task completion to the highest possible standards
* Effective stakeholder engagement skills - excellent written and verbal communication skills essential, and confident to be able to present to all levels in the organisation
* Strong understanding of financial modelling for infrastructure projects (advanced MS Excel)
* Qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with relevant post qualification experience
