Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4 Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that fosters creativity Plan and assess lessons in line with the curriculum and school policy Direct school productions, showcases, or enrichment events Contribute to the wider arts provision within the school community Support student development in confidence, teamwork, and self-expression Take on additional leadership responsibilities if awarded the TLR Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Drama at secondary level Strong understanding of performance, theatre, and curriculum planning Ability to inspire and engage students through creative learning Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ambition to take on wider departmental or pastoral responsibilities Open to both experienced teachers and confident ECTs School Staff Direct and our partner school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
