Employee Relations Specialist

Base Locations: Birmingham, Leeds & Manchester

This team is pivotal in shaping best practices and creating meaningful career opportunities for ER professionals.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the ER Manager, you will manage a diverse ER caseload, supporting and coaching business leaders on complex issues, including:

1. Providing expert ER guidance on policies, best practices, and risk mitigation
2. Leading on consultations, restructures, redundancies, and TUPE
3. Managing sickness absence cases, including OH referrals and dismissals
4. Acting as a stakeholder in grievance and disciplinary cases, ensuring fair outcomes
5. Overseeing appeal processes and Settlement Agreements
6. Managing Death in Service cases, ensuring stakeholder coordination and support
What will you need?

7. ER experience with strong stakeholder management skills
8. Ability to coach, develop, and communicate effectively at all levels
9. Experience handling complex, sensitive cases and driving service excellence
10. CIPD qualification or relevant experience preferred
