Are you an experienced or early-career KS2 Teacher ready to take on an engaging Year 5 class?
GSL Education Manchester is proud to be working with a welcoming and well-led primary school in Manchester, as they seek a committed and capable Year 5 Class Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025.
You’ll be taking responsibility for a lively, curious Year 5 class with strong support from colleagues and senior leadership. The school offers a positive learning environment with clear routines, excellent behaviour, and a focus on both academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and well-differentiated lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom where all children are supported to succeed
* Monitor and assess progress to inform next steps in learning
* Work collaboratively with TAs, leaders, and families to support each child’s journey
* Contribute actively to wider school life and events
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience in KS2 (Year 5 preferred)
* Strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and outcomes
* Someone who is organised, reflective, and ready to hit the ground running
* A team player committed to the school’s values and development
