Job Duties:
1. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across various age groups
2. Ensure classroom management and discipline are maintained at all times
3. Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
4. Follow lesson plans provided by the school or create your own when necessary
5. Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic development
Required Qualifications:
6. Enhanced DBS check
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching in a classroom setting preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
8. Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
9. Ability to engage and motivate students
10. Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
11. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
12. Experience working as a supply teacher in the UK
Working Conditions:
13. Work in various schools within the Romford area
14. Flexible working hours based on school requirements
15. Potential for short notice assignments
