Advanced Optometrist NHS Lothian

An exciting opportunity has arisen for GOCregistered Optometrists to join our growing Optometry team within the Hospital Eye Service (HES) across NHS Lothian.
We are seeking motivated clinicians looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and supportive hospital environment. While these posts are offered as permanent, fulltime Advanced Optometrist roles, we welcome applications from those seeking parttime or sessional working patterns.
Our Optometry Department delivers a diverse and expanding range of specialist clinical services, including:
* Glaucoma clinics: new patient assessment, management of stable and complex patients
* Corneal clinics
* Paediatric Optometry, including paediatric uveitis
* Low vision specialist assessments
* Cataract preoperative assessment clinics.
Experience in any of these subspecialties is beneficial but not essentialcomprehensive training and development will be provided.
