Credit Controller FTC £28,000 per annum 37.5 hours per week, 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday 12 month FTC On behalf of our client based near Bury St Edmunds, we are searching for a Credit Controller to join a friendly head office team part of an award winning and supportive company on a 12-month fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and previous, credit control based experience would be highly desirable. You must have customer service-based experience, as well as being confident in working within a fast paced, high volume role. Company and in-house system training will be provided. Due to the location of the role, a drivers license and access to your own vehicle will be essential. Main duties and responsibilities: Ensure quotation details meet requirements prior to billing customers/clients Raise sales invoices and credit notes Ensure credit and collection policy and procedures are followed Liaise with both customers and the sales team accordingly Progress payments due and chase overdue accounts via telephone, email and written correspondence Handle responses to customer invoice queries efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times Process bank receipts and allocate payments Carry out any other duties as required by the Credit Control Manager Key Skills and attributes Excellent communication skills- face to face and via Telephone Experience in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Credit Control experience essential Administrative experience beneficial Proficient in the use of financial based systems beneficial Benefits Wellbeing assistance (24-hour helpline and counselling service) Pension scheme Staff car parking Corporate perks including discounted cinema tickets and high street shop discounts If you are interested in this position, please apply with a current CV or contact the Bury St Edmunds office for more information
