Job Description
Principal Oracle SCM Solution Architect
Shape the Future of Supply Chain & Manufacturing Transformation with Version 1
If you’re an Oracle SCM Cloud leader with deep manufacturing expertise and a passion for transforming complex supply chains, this is your opportunity to operate at true strategic influence.
At Version 1, we don’t just implement technology—we redesign how organisations plan, produce, and deliver at scale.
With over 28 years of success and strategic partnerships with Oracle Corporation, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Red Hat and Snowflake, we provide the platform for architects to lead enterprise-wide transformation across global supply chains.
The Role — Lead End-to-End Supply Chain Transformation
As a Principal Oracle SCM Solution Architect, you will be the strategic authority for designing and delivering Oracle SCM Cloud solutions across large‑scale, multi-country transformation programmes—particularly within manufacturing‑led organisations.
This is a role for a T‑shaped leader with deep expertise across core SCM and Manufacturing modules, combined with the ability to architect across Finance, PPM, Procurement, Logistics, and Analytics.
You will shape not just systems—but how organisations plan, manufacture, source, and distribute in a modern, cloud‑first environment.
What You’ll Be Trusted To Do
Lead solution architecture for complex SCM and Manufacturing transformations
Design end-to-end processes across Plan-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash
Engage C‑suite stakeholders to define supply chain strategy and roadmaps
Define target operating models for manufacturing and supply chain functions
Lead integration, data, and reporting strategies across the enterprise landscape
Guide multi-disciplinary teams across functional and technical delivery
Drive operational efficiency, resilience, and innovation across supply chains
Mentor and develop the next generation of Oracle SCM consultants
Why This Role Stands Out
End-to-end ownership of complex supply chain and manufacturing transformations
High-impact programmes across global, asset-intensive industries
Strategic influence with senior client stakeholders
People-first culture with a long-standing Great Place to Work recognition
Opportunity to shape modern manufacturing through digital transformation
Qualifications
About You — Expertise & Experience
You’ll bring deep domain credibility across Oracle SCM and Manufacturing:
Extensive experience delivering Oracle SCM Cloud, including areas such as:
Manufacturing (Discrete / Process)
Supply Planning & Demand Management
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Procurement & Sourcing
Order Management & Logistics
Proven track record leading large-scale, multi-country transformation programmes
Strong understanding of integrated ERP landscapes, including Finance and Projects
Experience with integration (OIC), reporting (OTBI/OAC/FDI), and data migration strategies
Strong capability in business process design and operational transformation
Ability to influence and engage at C-suite level
Strong commercial awareness and experience shaping business cases and value realisation
Desirable
Experience in manufacturing industries (e.g., industrial, automotive, life sciences, FMCG)
TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
Broader ERP exposure (e.g., SAP, legacy manufacturing systems)
The Bottom Line
This is a strategic leadership role for someone who wants to:
Redefine how global organisations run their supply chains and manufacturing operations
Lead enterprise-wide transformation, not just system implementation
Operate as a trusted advisor at the intersection of operations, technology, and strategy
