The Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager/ Director to lead revenue growth across Albacom’s engineering capabilities. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven sales professional who can gain traction quickly, drive momentum and close opportunities.
The role is primarily sales-led and account-focused, while also requiring an active contribution to new customer acquisition and new business development. You will be expected to turn technical capability into clear commercial outcomes and deliver results at pace.
You will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, converting opportunities into orders, and selectively opening new accounts where Albacom’s technical strengths create clear competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver agreed sales targets across Albacom’s engineering and manufacturing portfolio
- Manage and grow key and strategic customer accounts
- Drive opportunities through the full sales cycle, with a strong focus on closing business
- Identify and pursue new customers and new opportunities, particularly in aligned and emerging markets
- Work closely with engineering, operations and project teams to shape technically and commercially robust solutions
- Develop pricing, quotations and commercial proposals
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide reliable forecasting
- Identify cross-sell opportunities across Albacom’s four specialist divisions
- Represent Albacom in customer meetings, reviews, audits and industry interactions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Senior Sales Engineer or Commercial Manager in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable track record of delivering results, closing opportunities and hitting sales targets
- Strong experience in account management, combined with new customer acquisition
- Technical understanding across electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering, including machining
- Experience selling complex, engineered or regulated products and services
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation, pricing and contract skills
- Confident engaging with engineers, buyers and senior stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working autonomously
- Experience in defence, energy, infrastructure or industrial markets is highly desirable
