Teacher of Computing – St. Augustine's RC High School
Salary: £33,594 - £50,589 (pro-rata for part time). Hours: 35 per week (part time considered).
St Augustine's is a Catholic secondary school of approximately 1030 students in the west of the City of Edinburgh. The catchment area includes five Catholic primary schools, extending from South Queensferry in the north to Balerno in the south. The school welcomes students from 31 primary schools due to parental choice. The school emphasises high achievement for every student and has a strong sense of community. All staff, teaching and non-teaching, are encouraged to contribute to the school as part of the St Augustine\'s community.
The post is in a busy ICT, Enterprise and STEM department. The emphasis is on achieving the best possible outcomes for each student; resilience and creativity are valued. A range of abilities from Nat3 to Advanced Higher are accommodated. PART TIME HOURS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Salaries are in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required for time spent outside the UK in the last 5 years. An unconditional offer is contingent on satisfactory pre-employment checks.
