🔧 Quality Engineer – Gravity Based Structure (Foundation)

đź’· Rate: ÂŁ500/day | Outside IR35 | 10-hour days
Global Edge are working closely with a key client to source an experienced Quality Engineer for a long-term contract on a major Substation.
Key Details:
* Remote-based role with regular travel to London office (expenses not reimbursed for office travel)
* Site visit expenses reimbursed with prior approval
* Ideal candidates will be based near or within commuting distance to London
Responsibilities Include:
* Implement and manage Quality Management System in line with project Quality Plan
* Coordinate QA/QC resources (client & contractor side)
* Conduct audits, inspections, and manage NCRs
* Review and approve quality plans and ITPs
* Support continuous improvement, lessons learned, and root cause analysis
Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience in QA/QC roles
* Degree in Engineering
* ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
* Awareness of welding, NDE, and coating inspection
