You will work with Professors, Clinicians and Students across a spectrum of research, from those starting out in their careers to establish research teams. You will be office‑based, in the Noclor research office in Kentish Town, North London, working alongside colleagues in our Contracts, Delivery, Finance, Non‑NHS, Primary care and Sponsorship teams, working closely with senior staff in ensuring Noclor partners meet their research obligations in an efficient and timely manner. You will work closely with researchers to support them in opening their projects, recruiting to time and target, and ensuring that high research quality standards are met. You will deliver on a dynamic portfolio of research projects in mental health and community research, delivering high‑impact research across multiple Noclor partners.
Main duties of the job
The post‑holder will be the first point of contact for researchers and will lead on the management of the project registration process. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to all researchers presenting with new project information or an enquiry, and helping them through the regulatory and research processes. You are required to have excellent administration and communication skills and daily speak to a wide range of individuals and organisations within the research community. You should be customer‑focused and enjoy working with a range of people and teams, with strong administration and organisational skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and succinctly. You should also demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. Knowledge of the Health Research Authority, NHS and research would be a distinct advantage.

Essential criteria:
* Degree level qualification or equivalent training and/or experience
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria:
* Knowledge of the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR), its values, aims and structure
* Experience of working in the NHS/academic environment.
* Knowledge of research databases
* Experience of implementing and managing documentation control systems including use of SharePoint
Desirable criteria:
* Knowledge of the governance and legislative framework for conducting clinical research studies, including Good Clinical Practice.
* Understanding of UK clinical trial set‑up process
* Experience supporting commercial or interventional clinical research studies
Skills And Abilities
Essential criteria:
* Excellent and proven communication and customer service skills with the ability to successfully liaise between all levels of staff
* Ability to interpret study timelines and identify performance risks
* Ability to convey information clearly and concisely
* Ability to analyse and interpret complex information and make judgments regarding a range of highly complex research management issues
* Good IT skills, particularly in the use of Web applications, MS Office applications and databases
