Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house looking for a senior agricultural trader to be based in London.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
* Responsible for/In charge of trade origination and execution in global agricultural markets.
* Liaise with manufacturers, users and partnered supply chain actors to gain greater price discovery, trading decisions and trade execution.
* Keep up with the trends in the market to maximize the profits through business development.
* Negotiate the purchasing and/or sales of focus area commodities.
* Reports into Head of Trading
Key Qualifications / Experience
1. At least 3+ years’ experience in trading grains, soy, wheat, oilseeds, and related soft and agricultural products.
2. Ability to spot value and make intuitive decisions.
3. Proven track record of successful trades, beneficial to have a transferable book of business.
